Save Log
How the log panel and buttons work in RefCalc.
When it appears
- Save Log panel and Save PDF / Save Log / My Logs / Ask Grok appear on output steps only.
- On input steps, use Run Diagnostic from the bottom bar first.
File name
- Pre-filled with Report.YYYY-MM-DD when no technician is set, or Your-Name.YYYY-MM-DD when a technician name is in Settings.
- Tap the field and type to replace the default. Later saves the same day get -2, -3, so Downloads does not overwrite.
- The file name is also the PDF header.
Technician
- Set your name in Settings. It prints on the PDF when present; leave it blank to omit the line.
Action buttons
- Save PDF — download diagnostic PDF to this device.
- Save Log — upload PDF to your account (My Logs). Requires license and completed diagnostic.
- My Logs — open saved reports list.
- Ask Grok — copy a plain-text summary and open grok.com. On the Grok app, paste if the chat is empty.
